Logging in and connecting accounts

ColorMari needs no password. You log in with Twitch, with YouTube or with a code we email you. There is no separate sign-up: your account is created with your first login.

The three ways

On the Login page you choose:

Way	How it works
Login with Twitch	You log in at Twitch, and ColorMari takes over your Twitch name.
Login with YouTube	You log in with your Google account.
Login with email	You enter your address and click Send code. You type in the 6-digit code from the email and click Login.

The code from the email is valid for ten minutes and only once. If it has expired, just request a new one - that works again after a minute.

After logging in you end up where you came from, for example back on the invitation link.

Your username

If you log in with Twitch, your ColorMari name is your Twitch name. If you come through YouTube or by email, you pick a username the first time: 3 to 20 characters of letters, numbers and _ - ..

Choose it well - it can't be changed later. Your profile is found under it (colormari.art/p/<name>), and that link is meant to stay the same.

One account, several ways

Under Login connections (in the account menu, or directly at /me/connect) you connect more ways to your account. Afterwards you can log in with any of them - all lead to the same account with the same pictures, friends and achievements.

A Twitch or YouTube account that already belongs to another ColorMari account can't be connected a second time. A connected login can't be disconnected again.

If you log in a different way

ColorMari recognises you by your email address. If you log in a new way that has the same address as your account - say with an email code instead of Twitch -, you end up in your existing account. A second account is only created if the address is a different one.

Why Twitch is worth it
