Every picture of a game is kept. You find them in the game history and under "Multiplayer drawings", you can download them and - if you like - publish them.

While you draw

The game leader decides whether you may watch your picture come to be ("Allow Video Recording" in the custom round's tools). If so, "Animation" in the options plays your drawing from the first stroke - also after you have handed it in. Drawing on your own, "PNG" there saves your picture at full size and "PSD" the drawing with its layers, to go on with in Photoshop, Procreate or Krita. A game does not have these two buttons: there you find your picture in the game history after the round.

Right after the game

At the end of a game you see the pictures that came out of your prompt and the pictures you were tagged in. All others are in the game history.

The game history

Under Game History you find your past games, each with its game leader, mode and number of players. There you can view the pictures of a game. You can download your own drawings, your friends' drawings and every drawing of a book you were tagged in with @name. ColorMari only knows the tags for games from October 2026 on, though.

Your drawings from games

All your own drawings from past games are in My library. The filter next to the search chooses what it shows:

  • All: your pictures from games and those you draw on your own - without the old ones.
  • Multiplayer drawings: your pictures from games. You can open and look at them, but not draw on.
  • Old multiplayer drawings: your pictures from games with the old drawing tool. These you can also delete - a deleted drawing also disappears from the game history.
  • Singleplayer drawings: what you draw on your own.

Publishing a picture

  1. Open My library and choose the multiplayer drawings (or the old ones) in the filter.
  2. Choose "Publish" on a drawing.
  3. Add a description if you like. The original prompt is shown to you.
  4. Confirm.

Published pictures appear on the Discover page and in your profile. A moderator checks them first - until then the picture is not publicly visible. A changed description has to be confirmed again, too.

You can unpublish a picture at any time.

Your profile

Your profile shows your published pictures. You can add:

  • a short text about you or your art (up to 250 characters),
  • your Pronouns (not given, she/her, he/him or they/them) - in German, your titles take the matching form,
  • a description of your character in keywords - helpful for everyone who is asked to draw you,
  • links to Instagram, X, Twitch, YouTube, DeviantArt and VGen.

Sharing pictures

Feel free to share your pictures on social media and tag the artists.
